The “Limited Contract” Standard
As of 2026, the UAE has fully transitioned to Limited (Fixed-Term) Contracts. Our calculator assumes this standard. If you are involved in a dispute regarding a legacy “unlimited” contract or a specific Free Zone (DIFC/ADGM) with its own employment regulations, these results may not apply.
